1. General Return Guidelines
- Return Window: You may return eligible items within 14 calendar days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange.
- Eligibility: To qualify for a return, the item must be in its original condition, unused, and with all original tags, packaging, and accessories included.
- Non-Returnable Items: The following items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective:
- Custom or personalized jewelry (e.g., engraved items)
- Sale or clearance items
- Gift cards
- Items that have been worn, altered, or damaged after receipt
- Refund Method: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original method is unavailable, we will issue a store credit.
2. How to Return an Item
- Contact Us: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at support@shimmeringgemss.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number, product details, and reason for return.
- Return Authorization: Once we receive your request, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions for returning your item.
- Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is defective or we made an error in your order. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to return the item, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returns without tracking.
- Packaging: Please securely package the item in its original packaging to prevent damage during the return process.
3. Exchanges
- If you would like to exchange your item for a different size, color, or product, please follow the same steps outlined above to return the item. Once we receive the returned item, we will process your exchange and ship out the new item.
- If the item you wish to exchange for is of higher value, we will require the difference to be paid. For exchanges of lesser value, we will issue a partial refund for the price difference.
4. Refund Process
- Refund Timeframe: Once we receive your returned item and confirm that it meets our return policy criteria, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your payment method, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Refunds for Defective or Incorrect Items: If the item is defective or we sent you the wrong product, we will cover return shipping costs and provide a full refund or replacement as appropriate.
- Partial Refunds: If an item is returned in a condition that does not meet our return policy (e.g., damaged, worn, or missing parts), we reserve the right to issue a partial refund.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
